A compilation of some of the shots I worked on for The Last of Us: Part II. As a cinematic lighter, I focused on character lighting for the in-game cutscenes, and adjusted the look of the post effects and background to work for the specific camera shots. I worked with the level lighting team who were responsible for the level environment lighting, as well as collaborating with other departments such as cinematic animators, character artists, texture/shading, FX, and design.
Lighting was done in Maya and rendered in real-time through the PlayStation 4 with Naughty Dog's proprietary game engine.
